Ten Ten Christian theatre company: This is My Body, June 20-21, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, N11 1AA
Ten Ten Theatre's latest play, This is my body, is a one-woman play about human trafficking. It tells the story of a woman who is coming to terms with being a victim of trafficking in the UK. The play is timely because the Modern Slavery Bill is going through Parliament this year but will only go some of the way to dealing with this terrible scourge on the modern world. Awareness needs to be raised. Performances will be given at Ten Ten's base in the parish hall of Our Lady of Lourdes, New Southgate, North London on Friday 20 June and Saturday 21 June. It will be performed by the Polish actress Agata Jarosz. Due to lack of funding, these may be the only performances.Tickets are £10 each and can be booked at tententheatre.co.uk/whatson/this-is-my-body

Evangelium Conference, August 1-3, the Oratory School, Oxfordshire
If you are on the lookout for a summer mini-break, then the Evangelium course could be a great way to relax and learn more about our Glorious Faith. Evangelium is an initiative that aims to explain the Catholic faith in the context of the modern world. It is a series of talks and workshops spread out over a weekend. I've been on this a couple of times and can testify to the high quality of the speakers. The surroundings are very pleasant, the food in the school canteen is surprisingly good and it's a good opportunity to meet people. www.evangelium.co.uk

That's all folks
